What: The 22nd Annual Arts Sampler Weekend, sponsored by Macy's, is a three-day event featuring over 100 arts-related activities, performances and workshops for the community to enjoy.
Who: Performers and arts groups from all arts disciplines are represented.
When: Friday, February 8 (NEW!), Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10. Event times vary.
Where: Events will be held at over 50 venues located throughout the greater Cincinnati region. Events are clustered geographically so that participants can see several events in one outing.
How Much: All Sampler events are FREE and open to the public.
Why: The Arts Sampler Weekend, sponsored by Macy's, is a celebration of the arts in our community and it acts as a kickoff for the annual Fine Arts Fund Campaign.
Who Benefits from the FAF Campaign: Our member organizations: Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Contemporary Arts Center, May Festival, Taft Museum of Art, Arts Consortium of Cincinnati, ArtWorks, The Carengie Visual + Performing Arts Center, The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Fitton Center for Creative Arts, MadCap Productions Puppet Theatre and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. Over 70 small arts groups around the region also benefit throught the Fine Arts Fund Grants Program. Where do I get a Schedule: The online calendar on this site is the most up-to-date resource for event information, and also allows you to build your own itinerary, search by interest or geographic region, and even map your arts destination. Printed booklets of the calendar are also available at Macy's throughout the region.
Do any events require a ticket and how do I get one: A number of groups are giving away a limited quantity of tickets for full-length productions. Look for the interest grouping YP-Ticket Give Away for information on how to get tickets.
Are there Volunteer Opportunities: This year, we have added shift opportunities for event
volunteers at most venues. Add to the fun, happening atmosphere at your
designated event! And volunteers who sign up for at least 3 shifts will receive
a free Enjoy the Arts membership! Click on the Volunteer tab for more information or to sign up.
